 Measuring only 60 x 73 mm, the baseboard integrates all essential functions – from a 12–36 V wide-range power supply, WiFi, Bluetooth, and TPM to industrial-grade interfaces. Connectors and application-specific features are placed on a custom carrier board. Ideally, developers only need to design a simple add-on board with the required connectors – with no complex regulator or high-speed design required. Two Phycam-M cameras, NXP i.MX 8M Plus or i.MX 95 processors, and up to 40 TOPS optional AI accelerators make Phy VIP a scalable edge AI platform for series production.
