The app can be adapted to PCB inspection with little configuration effort, so that circuit boards are rated as good or bad based on their thermal signature.

The IRSX smart infrared camera sends the results to the process control. For example, if a conductive path is interrupted, no heating can be detected, while defects in a conductor or an electronic component are visible as a temperature increase and so-called hotspots.
