From infrared to deep blue: telecentric lenses with colour correction

Photo

Due to the parallel beam path on the object side, they image without perspective distortions. Only in this way are exact measurements and position determinations possible.

The colour correction of the TO42 series not only covers the visible spectral range up to the near infrared. It also has an effect deep into the blue spectral range. With appropriate object illumination with blue LEDs, twice the resolution of conventional images is possible. Since white LEDs have a high proportion of blue light, the Blue Vision lenses are also suitable for working with white light.

The Vicotar TO42 series consists of three object telecentric lenses with field diagonals of 16 mm, 21.4 mm and 23.3 mm. The working distance is 120 mm for the smaller diameters and 100 mm for the larger. With the variable lockable aperture, resolution and depth of field can be set between F/8 and F/22 for every application.
