Frame grabber with fast data transfer

The 4xCXP-12 frame grabber (PCIe Gen3 x8; CoaXPress v2.0) is the latest product in the FireBird product range. With a speed of up to 12.5 Gbit / s per link, the grabber supports the fastest cameras on the market and captures high-resolution images in real time. The new board is ideal for single or multi-camera solutions in industrial applications where high-speed data transmission plays a role, such as in inspection. Equipped with a Gen3 PCI Express interface, the new frame grabber uses ActiveDMA, a RISC-based engine, to guarantee image data transfers without CPU involvement, with high speed, high resolution and low latency.

All Active Silicon frame grabbers are supplied with the ActiveSDK software development kit. ActiveSDK enables integrators to develop applications quickly and effectively. We also offer drivers for various third-party software packages.
