FPGA tool accelerates programming

Dyplo is built on Xilinx Dynamic Function Exchange (DFX) technology and high-level synthesis, and supports the latest Xilinx building blocks, including the Alveo boards and cloud-based systems. A major improvement is the increase in bus width from 32 to 64 bits. In addition, the update supports low latencies and high data throughput, which are necessary for applications for image processing of 4K videos, for example. The performance and flexibility of the DMA engine has also been further enhanced to meet the demanding design requirements of today's systems. If required, the powerful tool offers reconfigurable function blocks on the FPGA, which enable flexible use of the FPGA. This allows the same FPGA logic to be reused for multiple functions, resulting in a smaller FPGA size and therefore lower power consumption.

Aries Embedded provides the Dyplo development kit (DDK) for a quick and easy start into FPGA projects. The kit consists of an Alveo U50 board running the Dyplo 2.0 framework. This can be used with the operating systems Linux and Windows. Dyplo 2.0 support for Xilinx Alveo boards makes it very easy to integrate Xilinx FPGA technology into cloud or edge-based solutions.
