Flexible, Precise Position Recognition and Measurement Checking

So you've solved your application, but your vision sensor fails to meet system integration requirements? Verisens C-Mount gives you enhanced integration flexibility. C-Mount lenses let you choose the best mounting position in your system. A protective cap safeguards the lens against soiling and damage for greater process reliability. The caps are available in different lengths.

With Verisens C-Mount, readings of measurements and object's coordinates can now be obtained in "real" coordinates, i.e. millimeters, regardless of the object's position in the image. A simple calibration corrects perspectival contortions and lens distortions.

Verisens C-Mount therefore serves as a measurement-checking and position-detecting sensor, taking over tasks which previously required costly, complex image processing systems. Combined with highly effective functions to control presence, completeness and identification (reading and checking characters and numbers, barcodes and matrix codes), this qualifies the sensor for many applications - including machine construction, packaging and handling - where parts for a pick-and-place robot must be detected in all positions.

The sensor is delivered complete with Application Suite software, which is so easy to use that even operators with no image-processing expertise can run it. The available Ethernet, RS485 and Digital I/O interfaces permit fast, flexible system integration. Live images can be displayed and product changes can be easily performed during operation via a standard web browser.
