Digital rotation rate sensor

ASC

ASC expands its portfolio of digital sensors with the rotation rate sensor ASC DiSens 271 with SPI interface. The uniaxial gyroscope offers very good bias stability, a low angular random walk and great flexibility with regard to the measuring range. Thanks to the compact design and the practical self-test function, the sensor can even be used in safety-critical and difficult-to-access applications.

Due to the high bias stability (9 ° / h), the low noise density (0.02 ° / s / √Hz) and the low angular random walk (0.2 ° / √h), the digital ASC DiSens 271 is suitable for precise determination of an angular velocity in numerous applications. Test engineers in the automotive industry use the ASC DiSens 271 for, among other things, yaw and roll rate measurements, position and movement measurements and slip tests.

The gyroscope is also used in rail transport and measures e.g. B. the angle of inclination of wagons while driving or geometry errors in curved tracks. The ASC DiSens 271 also ensures the stability of ships and aircraft and enables the highly precise navigation of automated guided vehicle systems (AGVs).
