Datest Selected as Demonstration Site for Inspection System
Datest has been selected by Goepel Electronic as the demonstration site for the new OptiCon X-Line High-Speed 3-D Inline Automated X-ray Inspection System. Datest received the system off the show floor following the recent IPC APEX EXPO in San Diego. The inline inspection system will enable Datest to detect voids quickly using digital tomosynthesis. Datest now can provide 3-D top- and bottom-side X-ray inspection of double-sided PCBs at speeds up to 40 cm²/s using revolutionary GigaPixel technology. Full-sized 3-D X-ray inspection (AXI) allows for the layered analysis of all solder joints of a PCB within the production process. Additionally, the system features the fastest test program generation by means of effective library usage as well as safe fault analysis using descriptive visualization.
