CyberOptics: Statistical Process Control Software

CyberOptics Corporation introduces its new Process Monitor SPC Software. The new interactive software enables users to efficiently manage production.

Process Monitor includes comprehensive statistical process control charts that measure process capability and realize significant improvements in the production process. The software's built-in, real-time monitoring tools enable SPC capabilities on the inspection system in existing production lines. Additionally, the software's preconfigured functions allow quick access to key information.

"CyberOptics is excited to announce the formal release of our new SPC software platform, Process Monitor. The software will replace our current Process Insight SPC software, delivering improvements in areas such as ease of use, data management and speed, and gives SMT line operators, engineers and management easy access to SMT process information to allow for process control activities," commented Dennis Rutherford, General Manager of the Systems Business Unit.

A range of powerful, analytical tools combined with drilldown capabilities enable in-depth data analysis to identify trends and enhance line yields. Process Monitor is designed for quick installation and easy operation, offering complete SPC coverage to predict and analyze trends, identify and improve systematic process issues, and effectively maximize line yields.

"Process Monitor can be loaded directly onto our SPI or AOI inspection systems and is designed to allow for real-time monitoring of the SMT line as well as historical reporting of production data with multiple standard SPC report preconfigured for easy report generation," added Rutherford.
