CT software speeds up X-rays

Dual.Material CT achieves this increase in efficiency with assemblies that consist of two materials with different densities. This significantly improves the distinction between the two materials in the voxel image (3D pixels) reconstructed from 2D X-ray images acquired during rotation of the component in the chamber of a Nikon X-ray CT machine.

The main areas of application are, for example, factories that produce overmolded connectors, or medical devices such as inhalers or adrenaline pens.
