Controllable high-speed mirror

The new steerable mirror attachment expands the Dataman 470's field of view both vertically and horizontally, giving the 3MP and 5MP barcode readers an effective resolution greater than that of a 50MP sensor. This system can dynamically change both the field of view and the depth of field. A single system with a mirror attachment represents the ideal solution in applications that required high resolution and, up until now, multiple cameras. Pallet scanning, aggregation and other large-area applications that previously required high-resolution PC vision or multiple fixed sensors can now be performed much more effectively with the new high-speed steerable mirror.
