A cellular connection to cloud services can be implemented using the LTE modem in 2G/3G/4G networks. For satellite navigation and positioning, the TCG-4lite supports the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou systems. The connection to the machine is achieved with two CAN or a BroadR - Reach interface.

A 700 MHz single-core Freescale i.MX6 processor as well as 8 GB flash and 512 MB RAM memory are available for data processing and storage. The operating temperature range of the module with protection class IP67K is between -40 and +85 °C. Typical applications of the TCG-4lite are location monitoring and machine geofencing .
