Compact Fixed Focal Length Lenses

Edmund Optics introduces Techspec compact fixed focal length lenses. Designed for use in machine vision applications, the lenses are ideally suited for factory automation, inspection or qualification. The lenses have been optically designed with the specific working distance and unique resolution requirements of factory automation and inspection in mind. These high performance lenses feature large maximum apertures, so they can be used in even the most restrictive lighting conditions. Each lens includes a broadband anti-reflection coating, which increases transmission by up to 12% over standard MgF2 coatings on competitive lenses. They are available in focal lengths of 8.5 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 25 mm and 35 mm and support up to 2/3 inch sensors.
