Certified drylin lead screw axis for dry cleanrooms

The drylin linear module SLW-1040 is the first cleanroom-certified linear axis from igus® and sets new standards for clean, cost-effective automation. Tested according to ISO 14644-1, it achieves the best possible classification, ISO Class 4 (Fraunhofer IPA), and reliably minimizes particle emissions. The SLW series combines lightweight, rigid aluminum components with a high-performance high-helix lead screw and low-friction iglidur® E7 plain bearings. Like our existing linear axes, the SLW linear axis released in 2026 is also lubrication-free! This is made possible by our tribologically optimized high-performance polymers, which reduce downtime, maintenance costs, and contamination risks.
