Buttons for special requirements

The company has developed a variant for this series that is particularly suitable for areas with high requirements. The contact element and the pressure piece have been newly developed for the YKT button. As a result, the travel has increased to 1.8 mm and the pressure point has changed slightly. The feel is now a bit richer and more clearly noticeable, so that the actuation is clearly perceived even when operating with gloves.

The higher degree of protection with IP65/67/69K and the longer service life with one million switching cycles are ideal for areas of application with special requirements. In addition, the installation depth is reduced to just 14 mm due to the print connections. The YKT buttons are tested for vibration resistance according to IEC 60068-2-6 with 5 g, 10 to 500 Hz, shock resistance according to IEC 60068-2-27 with 50 g, 11 ms and salt spray resistance according to IEC 60068-2-11. The NO contact of the YKT can be operated with a nominal voltage of 35 V and a nominal current of 100 mA. The bezel color is black, the button color can be black, white, red, green, blue or yellow. An expansion of the connections for flat plugs is planned for mid-2022.
