3D sensor for electronics inspection

Photo

In addition to the information about multiple peaks (Multipeak), which is often indispensable for suppressing secondary reflections of the laser line, Multipart provides the customer with additional data such as reflectance, scatter or confidence. This makes it possible to generate a photorealistic representation of the test object instead of the previous simple point cloud.

This also makes it easy to implement 2D inspection tasks such as character recognition or inspection of QR codes. And it does so according to the GenICam3D standard and in the form of a plug-and-play principle, so that precision increases and application development progresses significantly faster. Thus, the 3D sensors of the C6 series from AT offer features that are particularly useful in the inspection of small, electronic components.
