Vitronic Secures Major Contract with Japanese Automotive Supplier

Vitronic continues to grow with its Viro WSI system solution for automated weld seam inspection. The specialist in machine vision has acquired a major order in the millions for its optical inspection systems from a well-known Japanese automotive supplier. The project involves the automated weld seam inspection of axle components in the automotive industry.  "Along with component inspections that are completely reliable, seam- and defect-related evaluations directly contribute to improving the production process," explains Julian Martini, Sales Manager at Vitronic.

The company anticipates worldwide growth in automated weld seam inspection, specifically in the automotive industry, in 2017 as well. As the VIRO WSI sales team continues to grow and as the product continues to undergo development, the company will be ideally equipped for the path ahead.
