Vision 2026 in Stuttgart positions itself as an international meeting place for industrial image processing and machine vision applications. Approximately 500 exhibiting companies—about two-thirds of which are from abroad and about 30 percent of which are first-time exhibitors—will present components, systems, and solutions for the development, integration, and application of image processing. In addition to the exhibition, the trade show offers an expanded supporting program featuring technical presentations, guided tours, startup events, and special exhibitions.
A new addition is the Synthetic Data Symposium, organized in collaboration with the Fraunhofer ITWM, which addresses the use of synthetic data for AI-powered image processing. The Vision Makeathon brings together students and young professionals with exhibitors to tackle real-world machine vision challenges. Guided tours, including a VDMA AI Tour, focus on industry-specific applications in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, battery production, electronics, and semiconductors.
