Teledyne completes acquisition of Flir

Flir Systems was acquired by Teledyne Technologies in January 2021 for approximately 8 billion US-Dollars in cash and shares. Now the company has been incorporated into the Teledyne Group under the name Teledyne Flir. The new claim is "Everywhereyoulook," with emphasis on the "you."

Flir Systems was founded in 1978 and is now considered the world leader in thermal imaging cameras, with approximately 3,000 employees and sales of nearly $1.9 billion (2019).
