The all about automation trade fair took place in Chemnitz on September 30 and October 1, 2025 and recorded strong growth compared to the previous year with 239 exhibitors and 2,714 trade visitors. The regional trade fair for industrial automation, robotics and digitalization impressed with high-quality technical discussions and a pleasant atmosphere, which underlines its relevance in an economically challenging environment.
In the Talk Lounge, visitors were able to gain practical insights into current automation trends. Presentations on the topics of safety and security, the new machinery directive, AI in production and the integration of PLCs and industrial robots were particularly popular. Frank Nolte moderated a session on IO-Link, which showed how this key technology is driving digitalization forward.
The joint stand 'Saxony', organized by Robotics Saxony, VEMASinnovativ and Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH, was a central point of the trade fair. Numerous Saxon companies and initiatives presented themselves, including the Mittelstand-Digital-Zentrum Sachsen and the Fraunhofer IWU.
The next all about automation in Chemnitz is planned for September 23 and 24, 2026. The trade fair series will continue for the first time in Berlin on January 28 and 29, 2026.
