DMG Mori has included Mitutoyo in the "DMG Mori Qualified Products" (DMQP) program to provide customers with high-quality precision machine tools and inline measuring systems. At the DMG Mori in-house exhibition in Pfronten, Dr. Masahiko Mori, President and CEO of DMG Mori, and Shigeyuki Sasaki, President of Mitutoyo Corporation, sealed this partnership.

The DMQP portfolio includes machine components, peripheral devices and accessories such as tools, clamping devices, software, measuring technology and cooling lubricants. The integration of Mitutoyo into the program underscores the importance of technology integration as part of DMG Mori's Machining Transformation (MX) strategy. This strategy combines several processes, including turning, milling and measuring, in one machine. Mitutoyo's compact MiSTAR 555 coordinate measuring machine enables high-precision measurements directly in the production environment, which increases efficiency and reduces waste.
