Messtechnik Wetzlar GmbH is now Hexagon Metrology PTS GmbH

Since October 1st, 2010 Messtechnik Wetzlar GmbH is sporting a new name. The company operates now as Hexagon Metrology PTS GmbH - PowerTrain Solutions.

Parent company Hexagon AB took over the German firm in June 2008. Integration is now perfect with this change of name. "We are sending a clear signal with the new company name," says Per Holmberg, Hexagon Metrology President Europe. "Hexagon Metrology PTS GmbH is part of our worldwide network and therefore a global player. The company is an important component of our portfolio and a top choice for our powertrain customers."

Under the new name, Hexagon Metrology PTS GmbH provides proven metrology products and services including Quindos, the leading measurement software in the area of powertrain applications. Other offerings range from turn-key solutions in the metrology sector through to services such as concept design and installation of customized measuring rooms, transport systems, fixtures and programming.

AKL – International Laser Technology Congress in Aachen
