Matthias Lapp will focus entirely on his role as CEO of the Lapp Group and hands over the position of CEO of the EMEA region to Michael Seddig, who has been COO EMEA since July 2023. This decision is intended to strengthen the management structure and better align the organization with customer needs. The handover to the third generation began in 2022, when Andreas and Siegbert E. Lapp withdrew from the operational business.

Matthias Lapp took over as CEO and successfully led the company through challenges. Michael Seddig will head the largest sales region from April 2025 and continue to be responsible for purchasing, production and logistics. Andreas Lapp will also step down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of U.I. Lapp GmbH, with his nephew Matthias Lapp taking over the role. The changes reflect Lapp's commitment to remaining a family-run company and to focusing on growth markets and future industries.
