Jenoptik expands site in Florida
Additional production and testing capacities for the US subsidiary.
Jenoptik is expanding its Jupiter site in Florida, USA, with the addition of a further Class 5 cleanroom, additional production space, and manufacturing and testing capacity.
The new cleanroom complements existing capacity and features advanced molecular filtration technology to enable applications with demanding cleanliness requirements, for example with extreme ultraviolet light (EUV) and vacuum.
A flexible manufacturing area, also recently expanded, provides space for additional test stations and is equipped with a modular Class 7 cleanroom. Raised ceilings and an overhead lift allow for the transport of products, providing greater efficiency in this environment, which requires a high degree of cleanliness and the lowest possible levels of contamination. This manufacturing and testing capacity can be configured as needed for future projects.
