A new strategic partnership includes International Light Technologies' devices in SphereOptics' product range.

International Light Technologies (ILT) is a renowned manufacturer of light measurement devices and solutions with over fifty years of industry experience and is now part of Labsphere Inc., an existing supplier to SphereOptics. “We are thrilled about the partnership with International Light Technologies,” says Dr Rainer Böhm, managing director of SphereOptics. “This collaboration enables us to deliver innovative and high-quality products that meet our customers' demands for precision and reliability. ILT brings extensive expertise and state-of-the-art technology to our product portfolio, providing significant benefits to our customers.”

The new product line includes a variety of compact light measurement devices, such as radiometers and spectroradiometers, which are used in various industries including lighting, printing, medical technology, and research. With these new products, SphereOptics can offer customized solutions tailored to the specific needs and requirements of its customers.

“Our partnership with SphereOptics marks an important step for ILT in expanding our global presence," explains ILT sales director Jill Fowler. “We are confident that our high-quality products, combined with SphereOptics’ expertise in consulting and sales, will perfectly complement each other to meet the growing demand for precise light measurement solutions in Europe.” SphereOptics and ILT will work closely together to ensure a smooth integration of the new products into SphereOptics’ existing portfolio. Customers can rely on the excellent service and support they are accustomed to from SphereOptics while benefiting from the expanded product offerings.

ILT had announced its integration with Labsphere on 2 April 2024. As a division of the 1979-founded photonics company, ILT retains its name and brand but can use Labsphere’s global distribution network, manufacturing partnerships, and engineering prowess. “As the world transitions from incandescent to LED technologies, a company with established expertise in both areas becomes critical,” stated Robert Harrison, general manager of ILT.
