GOM becomes Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology
GOM GmbH has been operating under the name Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology GmbH since the end of February. This is intended to clarify the unity almost three years after the takeover by Zeiss.

Until February 23, 2022, the subtitle "A Zeiss Company" had to do it as an addition to the usual company name GOM GmbH (see the article picture still with the old logo). Now the Zeiss Group has put its money where its mouth is and put the company founder Carl Zeiss at the beginning: Carl Zeiss GOM Metrology GmbH.
Zeiss acquired GOM in May 2019 and incorporated it into the Industrial Quality Solutions division.
