Fraunhofer Vision at Control 2025
At Control 2025 in Stuttgart, the Fraunhofer Vision business unit will be presenting a selection of innovative measurement and inspection systems based on image processing for quality assurance in production
The focus is on quality assurance through image processing, with numerous Fraunhofer Institutes researching and developing in the fields of image processing and optical and acoustic testing. Current new developments from various fields will be presented at the trade fair stand, including surface inspection, optical 3D measurement technology, inline measurement and testing as well as component identification. New technologies for non-destructive testing, such as terahertz, radar, magneto-optics and ultrasound, will also be presented. Another topic is acoustic monitoring of production.
Many of the exhibits on show use artificial intelligence or machine learning methods, which gives visitors an insight into current trends. The Fraunhofer Institutes' systems and solutions are used in numerous industries, including automotive and automotive suppliers, mechanical and plant engineering, aviation, plastics and semiconductors. They are also particularly relevant for future industries such as battery and fuel cell production and recycling. Topics such as robotics, automation technology, process technology and sensor technology are also addressed.
