WE United, formerly Women in Electronics, is a community of leaders dedicated to the advancement of women in the electronics industry. Linda Johnson, Executive Partner at Digikey, emphasized the importance of the partnership in supporting women's entry into careers worldwide. WE United provides leadership development, mentoring and networking programs to promote gender equality in the industry.
The organization strives to bring men and women together to drive systemic change. Digikey has already founded a regional association in Northern Minnesota in 2018 and launched another in Munich in 2024. These regional associations are open to Digikey employees and interested parties seeking support and resources to empower female leaders.
