Wenglor focuses on machine vision

The sensor and machine vision expert Wenglor Sensoric realigned its internal development centers and business units at the beginning of June. Thus, the areas of 2D machine vision, 2D/3D sensors, code scanners and software were combined in the Wenglor MEL business unit. In turn, the development and production of optoelectronic and inductive sensors takes place in the Sensor Technology business unit. In this way, the Group intends to strengthen its two business units Sensors and Machine Vision.

Zeiss takes over Capture 3D

With the planned acquisition of Capture 3D, Zeiss is expanding the market presence of the Industrial Quality and Research division in the USA. Capture 3D is a sales partner for optical 3D measurement technology from GOM in the USA. The company's headquarters are in Santa Ana, California.

VMT integrates measurement technology company Espace 6D GmbH

Effective April 8, 2021, VMT and Espace 6D GmbH will work under one roof. The company, which previously operated independently within the Pepper+Fuchs Group, is headquartered in Herten and specializes in mobile three-dimensional measurement technology and the digitization of industrial and robotic systems.
