New Tamron VIS-SWIR lenses

Photo

Its 1-inch fixed focal length lenses cover the entire spectrum from visible light to the SWIR band (400-1700 nm). The SMA11F series avoids defocused objects and delivers consistently high-resolution images across the entire spectrum from visible light to the SWIR band thanks to high spectral transmittance.

The main advantage of the SMA11F series is that it eliminates the need for refocusing for different spectral bands. The lenses are compatible with image sensors with a pixel pitch of 5 µm (e.g. IMX990/IMX991).

Due to the aforementioned properties, they offer advantages for various areas of industrial applications such as: B. Food control and classification, agriculture, medicine and science. The first model with a focal length of 12 mm is already available. In approximately the second quarter of 2022, the SMA11F series will be joined by two additional lenses with focal lengths of 16 mm and 25 mm (preliminary).
