The automation specialist has now further optimized the system: Different pallet sizes can now be processed with just one system and a multi-axis robot can be integrated for parts handling. In addition, rollers can be attached to move the palletizer. The product handling of the Variostack is equipped with a linear axis system as standard. Now the request went to IEF-Werner to integrate a customer's multi-axis robot into the system. This can also pivot and rotate the products if necessary – an important requirement of the customer. To ensure that the robot works safely and precisely, the automation expert has strengthened the frame of the palletizer accordingly.

IEF-Werner optionally equips the Variostack with rollers. If the operator activates the lifting mechanism via a button on the control, pneumatic cylinders to which the rollers are attached move out of the system. When the palletizer is in its new place, the cylinders retract at the touch of a button and the system stands firmly on the floor.
