Connection of end devices over long distances with very low latency

Transmission distances of up to 20 km can be achieved - versions for even longer distances are available on request. Because the data packets are transmitted bit for bit, a latency of <500 ns is guaranteed regardless of their length. This means that the media converters are also suitable for real-time protocols such as VARAN or SERCOS. 

The application scenarios include, in particular, the connection of remotely positioned end devices such as controls, HMIs, drives or IP cameras to a local network. So that they can also be supplied with voltage directly via the Ethernet cable, the PoE variants provide a power of up to 90 W in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt.
