New Condition Monitoring Consultancy from Bachmann
The specialists from the Bachmann Condition Monitoring Consultancy Service (CMC) will now be able to answer all questions relating to condition monitoring.
Wind turbine owners and operators alike are under growing pressure to deliver higher productivity, affordable energy, and better investor returns. The information required to optimize maintenance, tap into cost savings, and reduce downtime can be found within the standard, daily condition monitoring data of their wind turbines. The new in-house Condition Monitoring Consultancy (CMC) service from Bachmann been created to help its customers access this information and realise these benefits.
The CMC team of expert advisors dedicated to strategic maintenance planning and risk management. CMC operates independently from the existing Bachmann Condition Monitoring System (CMS) service. “The driving force behind CMC is not to implement particular hardware and software solutions, but instead to deliver the knowledge required by machine and turbine operators to optimize maintenance, lower costs and increase profitability – on their own terms,” says David Futter, Head of Condition Monitoring Consultancy and Approved Training Coordinator at Bachmann Monitoring GmbH.
Consultants are independently certified to CAT-3 or CAT-4 of ISO 18436-2 for the condition monitoring and diagnostics of machine systems. The CMC team also delivers vibration analysis training independently approved by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT). Based on a combination of field experience, theoretical knowledge and operational skill, CMC consulting programs promise to deliver a customized maintenance strategy for each unique installation and business model.
