Change in the management of ABB's Electrification business area
Torsten Nolting took over as head of ABB's Electrification business area in Germany on August 1, 2021. He succeeds Uwe Laudenklos, who became Lead Business Area Manager Northern and Central Europe for the same business area on April 1 of this year.


Torsten Nolting (54) has worked for the ABB Group and its subsidiary Busch-Jaeger Elektro in various functions since 1991. He has been Head of International Sales for Busch-Jaeger since 2007, and from 2015 he was responsible for the Smart Buildings division as Regional Sales Manager Europe. Since the end of 2018, Nolting has been a member of the management team at Busch-Jaeger Elektro.

With his profound expertise as well as many years of experience in the market, he is an enrichment for the dialog with our customers and for the region of Northern and Central Europe as head of the business area in Germany," says Uwe Laudenklos.
Uwe Laudenklos (52) began his career at ABB in 1993 and has since held various management positions. Since 2011, he has been chairman of the management board of ABB Stotz-Kontakt in Heidelberg. In 2015, he took over the leadership of the Electrification business area in Germany and has been responsible for the business area in the countries of the Northern and Central Europe region since April 1, 2021.
ABB Electrification combines the ABB, Busch-Jaeger and Striebel & John brands in Germany. The companies operate in the power supply, industry, buildings, infrastructure and mobility sectors.
