Laseroptik von Coherent mit dem Global Supplier Excellence Award ausgezeichnet
Deutsche Beschichtungsexperten für ”Outstanding Quality 2025“ ausgezeichnet.
The award honors the achievements regarding short lead times and reliability, responsiveness, reaction speed of trouble shooting and elimination of quality issues. On behalf of EVP Gary Kapusta and European director strategic supply chain Dr Paul Ilten, the award was handed over in an official ceremony by Julia Strozyk and Dirk Herbke, strategic sourcing managers, to Laseroptik’s Dr Wolfgang Ebert, Daniel Höhne, and Mark Krause.


The Coherent representatives expressed their appreciation in an official statement: “We thank you for your collaboration and the effort your company made to meet our high expectations of a Coherent valued supplier.”
Dr Wolfgang Ebert gratefully expressed: “We feel honored by this award for an essential category, namely quality. We have been working for Coherent sites for more than forty years and developed unique optics manufacturing capabilities for their demands. I thank Coherent for their appreciation and their continued trust in us.”
Laseroptik is a renowned manufacturer of optical coatings and laser optics from VUV to IR and employs more than forty coating machines with six different coating methods. Founded in 1984 as a spin-off from Hanover University, the company produces up to 180,000 coated optics per year, mainly for laser applications in industry, medicine, space and research.
