Easyfairs, organizer of all about automation, was satisfied with the choice of Heilbronn as another venue for all about automation. The city on the Neckar is well located to attract visitors from the strong economic regions of Heilbronn-Franconia and Rhine-Neckar, as well as from the north of the Stuttgart region and the northern Black Forest. Mechanical and plant engineering, automotive engineering, the electrical industry and the metal industry, the largest industrial sectors in Heilbronn-Franken, account for almost a quarter of the regional jobs and are characterized by a very dynamic employment development. These basic requirements at the location contributed to the fact that the trade fair received a lot of positive feedback in its premiere year.

136 exhibitors and 1,213 visitors met on the two days of the fair in Heilbronn's Redblue exhibition hall. The Heilbronn-Franken economic region initiative states that the vast majority of regional companies are well-managed family businesses with long-term strategies and above-average investments in research and development.

Automation solutions for all areas, steps on the way to digitization and answers to the current challenges were shown. This became very clear during the panel discussion on the topic “Why wait? We are now making money with digitization.” There it was about how medium-sized companies take the initiative. The exhibitors represented on the podium contributed concrete examples from practice.
