Sieb & Meyer wins the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award

The company achieved a high export rate in 2021

03.06.2022 - ​​​​​​​Drive solutions and control technology from Lüneburg are in demand worldwide: In 2021, Sieb & Meyer was able to record an export quota of 92 percent. The company has now been awarded the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Prize in the large company category. The award ceremony took place on June 1, 2022 as part of the Hanover Fair.

"Since it was founded in 1962, Sieb & Meyer has specialized in niche products that are sold worldwide," says Torsten Blankenburg, Chief Technology Officer at Sieb & Meyer. “We are very happy about the award. It underlines that we are perceived and valued as a global company.” The basis for international success are two subsidiaries in Taiwan and China as well as 12 international sales partners. Sieb & Meyer is the world market leader in the field of CNC controls for the mechanical drilling and milling of printed circuit boards and has recently been able to record record sales thanks to the good order situation.

The Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Prize has been awarded every year since 2010 after the Foreign Trade Day by the Lower Saxony Minister for Economics, Labour, Transport and Digitization. Small and medium-sized companies as well as large companies from Lower Saxony that are active abroad are honored for their export successes.
