Control 2025: Focus on AI and quality assurance
06.03.2025 - The trade fair expects around 35 percent international exhibitors
The international trade fair for quality assurance, Control, will take place in Stuttgart from May 6 to 9, 2025. The trade fair, which traditionally stands for quality and a high level of expertise, expects around 35 percent international exhibitors. New this year is the “Control Quality Talk”, a discussion round dealing with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in QA. Experts will discuss how AI systems are already being used in industry and what effects they have on profitability and efficiency.
The trade fair offers a platform for providers and users of QA solutions and covers a wide range of topics, including vision, image processing, sensor technology, and measuring and testing technology. The Control Quality Talk will take place on the first day of the fair and will be moderated by Dr.-Ing. The participants in the discussion include experts from Fraunhofer IPA, Werth Messtechnik, CAQ AG Factory Systems and Zeiss IQS.
Quality assurance measures are essential for the manufacture of safe products and contribute to reducing failure costs and increasing customer satisfaction. The digitalization and networking of QA processes are crucial to addressing current megatrends such as sustainability and automation.
The framework programme for Control 2025 includes a technical forum with practice-oriented presentations, and the special show entitled “Contactless Measuring Technology”, which will present technologies and system components from this field. Bettina Schall, managing director of P. E. Schall, emphasises the importance of the trade fair as a platform for exchanging technical information and making new business contacts.
