EMVA expert provides insight into what's new in the EMVA 1288 standard

09.06.2021 - He's back again! Also at this year's Wiley Industry Days (June 7-9, 2021), Prof. Dr. Bernd Jähne will give a presentation on the machine vision standard EMVA 1288.

As a member of the Board of the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA), Chair of the EMVA 1288 standard and Senior Professor of the Heidelberg Collaboratory for Image Processing (HCI) at the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Prof. Dr. Bernd Jähne is just the right person for the job.

Specifically, his English-language talk, titled "Release 4 of the EMVA Standard 1288 for Adequate Characterization of Modern Image Sensors and Cameras" will revolve around the recently released Release 4.0 of the EMVA 1288 standard. The presentation will outline the many new and exciting features of version 4.0 that will make the standard much more useful.
