Line scan camera series with CoaXPress version

Chromasens

Chromasens is expanding its Allpixa Evo line scan camera family with three models compatible with the latest version of the CoaXPress interface (CXP 2.0).

Fusing CXP 2.0 with trilinear CMOS sensors with resolutions up to 3 x 15,360 pixels, the 8-, 10- and 15K cameras capture true RGB color, mono or TDI images at a maximum line frequency of 100 kHz to significantly increase production yields.

The camera's four CXP 2.0 channels allow users to choose between one, two or four channels to meet the exact data transfer requirements of their applications. Each channel has a maximum transfer rate of 12.5 Gbps (CXP-12) or a total of 50 Gbps bandwidth when all four channels of the camera are connected to a GenICam-compatible frame grabber. Other CXP 2.0 benefits include a single coaxial cable that transmits video, camera control and trigger functions with 13 W DC at 24 VDC, resulting in lower system cost and complexity.
