Menlo Systems’ new offices in China, USA

12.06.2024 - German precision metrology instrumentation provider moves its US subsidiary to Colorado, triples office space in Shanghai.

The Chinese subsidiary of Menlo Systems has completed the transfer to their new office space end of May. The new location in the same building comes with a tripled area, offering generous room for an inviting work environment, with a conference area to welcome visitors, and also laboratory space for testing and maintenance of the Menlo products in China.

The opening of the new premises in Shanghai express the company’s commitment to enhance and extend its service and support for Chinese customers and partners. Overall, the relocation is part of its plan to expand the global presence to best serve the growing photonics markets.

To achieve that, the US subsidiary, Menlo Systems Inc, moved its headquarters from its longtime home in Newton, New Jersey to Boulder, Colorado. The new facility doubles the square footage of the previous location and reflects the company’s commitment to customer support, innovation, and growth.

“After the decision had been made to expand our presence in the US, we selected Boulder because of its strong photonics sector providing an ideal environment to foster collaboration, as well as close proximity to a unique talent pool,” says Jens Schumacher, general manager of the US facility.

While the office portion of the building is already in use, construction will take place to build out lab and warehouse space providing the required infrastructure to support development, production, and expanded service capabilities. The official opening of the premises is planned for the second half of 2024.
