Technotrans invests for expected company growth

03.03.2025 - Company acquires neighboring property at its headquarters in Sassenberg for the construction of new production and logistics areas.

Greater capacity for anticipated growth: Technotrans has signed the purchase agreement for an approximately 13,000-square-meter property at Porschestrasse 4 in Sassenberg. The site is directly adjacent to the company headquarters and is slated to house new production and logistics facilities in the future.

“With the acquisition of this property, we are creating an ideal basis for expanding our capacities,” says Michael Finger, CEO of Technotrans SE. “The Sassenberg location is our group-wide competence center for the rapidly growing Energy Management focus market, which also encompasses technologically sophisticated liquid cooling solutions for data centers.” Thanks to its proximity to the headquarters, technotrans ensures close integration of research, development, and production enabling particularly high efficiency in order processing and in the implementation of new projects.

Currently, the site includes an existing warehouse as well as extensive open areas. Until construction of the new facilities begins – plans for which are set to start shortly – Technotrans is considering using the property temporarily as a logistics area. From the planning phase to the groundbreaking and completion of the new buildings, the entire construction process is expected to take approximately one and a half to two years.
