Laurent Melin is now the new head of global sales for the PI Group

Laurent Melin will now be responsible for global sales of physics instruments (PI) as Senior Vice President Global Sales. To date, he has been responsible for the PI Group's sales activities in the EMEA region, excluding the DACH region. In his new role, Laurent Melin succeeds Stephane Bussa, Chief Sales Officer, who is leaving the PI Group at the end of the year at his own request.

Laurent Melin has more than 20 years of experience in international sales of high-tech components and systems. In the summer of 2022, he moved to the PI Group and has been heading sales for the EMEA region since then. The new SVP Sales sees his focus on expanding the OEM business with solutions from the three PI areas of expertise: nanopositioning, piezo technology and performance automation.
