Machine vision distributor Jumavis at Control for the first time

27.03.2024 - Jumavis, which took over the machine vision division of Polytec two years ago, is presenting its portfolio at Control for the first time this year. This includes a camera microscope and a 3D camera.

Two years after its foundation, Jumavis, distributor for machine vision components, is taking part at Control as an exhibitor for the first time. As a highlight, the company will be presenting the DPX M12000 from Deltapix, a fully automatic digital microscope with high image quality. The device enables 3D topography, high depth of field, auto-stitching, automatic scanning and much more. A team from Deltapix, led by CEO Steen Oersted, will be present at the Jumavis booth to demonstrate the microscope's capabilities to interested visitors. In addition, Deltapix will present economical systems with a range of functions adapted to the respective application.

As a further attraction, Jumavis will be showing 3D sensors from LMI Technologies. These include the LMI Gocator, which is suitable for use in robot-guided quality control, among other things. At the trade fair stand, the Gocator 3210 snapshot sensor on the arm of a collaborative robot will convince trade fair visitors of its performance and precision.

"We specialize in image capture, image recognition and evaluation. From analyzing the task to planning and selecting the various components, we support our customers in their small or large projects with our expertise, experience and creativity," explains founder and Managing Director Johanna Unrath. She was previously responsible for the machine vision division at Polytec for 16 years, which she integrated into Jumavis in 2022.

Jumavis already achieved a positive result in its first short financial year. Since then, turnover has grown continuously.
