Lapp announces sales figures for the 2024 financial year

05.02.2025 - Success in Asia stabilizes the company despite a decline in sales in Europe

The Lapp Group maintained its market position in the 2024 financial year despite a slight decline in sales of 5.3 percent to 1.82 billion euros. The decline in Europe was offset by impressive growth in Asia, particularly in the growth markets of India and South Korea.

Despite the challenges, Lapp remains future-oriented and is consistently investing in the areas of digitalization, logistics and production. These strategic investments are designed to ensure long-term growth and strengthen competitiveness. In the EMEA region, Lapp suffered a 9 percent decline in sales, while the Americas region only saw a slight decline. By contrast, Asia saw a sales increase of over 10 percent.

Lapp is focusing on diversification and has seen strong demand in innovative areas such as battery storage and robotics. To strengthen local production, investments of 66 million euros have been made. For 2025, the company expects moderate sales growth, with a focus on successes in Asia and the US.

Lapp also hopes for new political impetus in Europe to counteract deindustrialization. The company headquarters in Stuttgart employs around 1,400 people, who contribute significantly to the success and stability of the company.
