Euresys: Revenue grew by 29 percent in fiscal 2021
Manufacturer of frame grabbers and machine vision software
In view of the continuing tight supply situation, particularly for semiconductors, and the resulting pressure on prices and lead times, Euresys is continuing to diversify its procurement by acquiring new third-party suppliers and redesigning existing products so that more secondsource components are used. For the second half of the year, the machine vision specialist expects significant easing in the semiconductor market.
Capacity expansion of 78 percent planned
Euresys has already planned further expansion two years after moving into the new facilities by acquiring the rights to an adjacent property. The planned expansion represents a 78 percent increase in capacity and will enable longer-term growth. In view of the energy transition, the existing facility has been equipped with 150 m² of photovoltaic panels, which on the one hand supply the buildings and on the other feed 16 charging stations for electric vehicles installed in the parking lot.
Portfolio to be expanded, new office in China
Euresys plans to expand its own portfolio. This includes extending CoaXPress-over-Fiber compatibility to more camera manufacturers, new 3D (Easy3DMatch) and deeplearning (EasyLocate) machine vision libraries, and porting Evision image processing libraries to Linux.
The company also plans to enter new markets. This includes quality inspection in the booming PV, OLED display and battery film production. To this end, Euresys opened an office in Shenzhen, the second in China, to improve local support.
