High-Speed Thermal Imaging Camera Families for R&D
Teledyne Flir
The cameras offer advanced recording, triggering and synchronisation features. This includes the ability to adjust focus remotely, which not only increases the quality of thermal imaging, but also saves time and avoids potential frustrations when used in dynamic environments.
Raw data can be stored directly in the camera on a solid-state drive (SSD) and transferred from there to an external computer, where it can be processed and analysed with Flir Research Studio or with the Flir Science Camera SDK. In this way, users can access the raw data for immediate review and analysis. The cameras also support long-term recording, limited only by the size of the commercially available SSD drive used. This feature eliminates the need for external high-speed data recording systems for many applications, which means significant time and cost savings in additional hardware and integration time.
