SVCam-ECO Camera Series Grows

The SVCam-ECO camera series from Svs-Vistek grows and will be upgraded with two new models eco445 and eco618 in the first quarter of 2010. This smallest GigE-series offers for each application a suitable model with resolutions from VGA to 5 megapixels. The cameras are available as monochrome and colour version.

The eco445 completes the company's product range of versions with 1.3 MP CCD. Svs-Vistek provides three different sensors sizes in this product segment (1/3", 1/2" and 2/3"-CCD's). The new eco445 camera has a resolution of 1,280 x 960 pixels and delivers up to 20 fps.

The eco618 with a resolution of 659 x 494 pixels and a frame rate of approx. 100 fps has a 1/4 " CCD-sensor. This model is IR-sensitive and comes to operation where one works in a non-visible IR-area or where daylight influences need to be avoided.

SVCam-ECO-cameras feature 14-bit A/D converter and provide therefore a high image quality. Due to small weight (approx. 100 g) and a compact housing (e.g. 38 mm x 38 mm x 33 mm) these cameras can be used perfectly where space is limited or when the camera must be moved. Thanks to unbeatable price-performance-ratio the SVCam-ECO-series is also suitable for applications that have been solved in the past with analogue cameras. Additional I/Os provide a maximum in flexibility. As optical interface they have a CS- and C-mount. An SDK is available for Windows as well as for Linux. The SVCam-ECO-cameras are successfully used e.g. in quality control, for automatic optical inspections and for production monitoring but also for other general machine vision applications.
