AVT introduces new Mako model

The Mako hits the scene with a perfect blend of performance, size and cost. Its rugged industrial housing ensures ultra-precise sensor alignment for razor-sharp images at up to 100 frames per second. Choose from competitively priced GigE models offering up to 4 megapixels. The Mako is an entry-level machine vision camera with an excellent price/performance ratio and a high quality build. Mako cameras feature a compact robust housing, Power over Ethernet (PoE), Optocoupled I/Os (1 in, 3 out), 12V to 24V of power, a 64MB image buffer and more to ensure an easy integration

Its small form factor makes the Mako ideal for a wide range of applications including robotics, quality control, inspection, surveillance, industrial imaging, machine vision, logistics and more. Mako cameras are available with the latest CCD (Sony) and CMOS (CMOSIS) sensors. These include the versatile CMV2000 and CMV4000 sensors from CMOSIS, which feature high sensitivity, high dynamic range, fast frame rates, low noise and a global shutter. NIR versions of these sensors are also available for applications that require optimized near-infrared sensitivity.
