Versatile all-in-one data acquisition system

Althen GmbH Mess- und Sensortechnik

The new 16-channel pressure scanner DSA5000 from Althen is an all-in-one data acquisition system for multipoint pressure acquisition. Each DSA5000 uses one pressure sensor per measuring channel. In addition, each of the 16 pressure sensors is digitized via a 24-bit A / D converter. This enables absolutely synchronous data acquisition with a sampling rate of up to 5kHz / channel. Extensive configurability and adjustments to the measurement signals are possible via the integrated high-performance controller.

The DSA5000 is designed for data transmission via an Ethernet connection; A large selection of data output formats is available. The integrated web server can be configured and operated intuitively and easily. The option of a hardware multi-drop architecture is unique: this function enables an Ethernet connection to a single DSA5000, which then controls a number of other DSA5000 modules and can collect data from them.

The module identification, configuration and synchronization takes place without any delay. In addition to the electronics, mechanical valves are included. These valves are used to orchestrate the "measuring", "isolating", "calibrating" and "flushing" states. The housing is sealed both mechanically and electrically, in accordance with IP67.
